Serving the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area, CIIM Washington is an important gateway to the US federal government, the Dulles Technology Corridor, often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of the East", and various national and international institutions such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
The presence of many major government agencies, including the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, and the Food and Drug Administration, is a fertile territory for many businesses including federal contractors, numerous nonprofit organizations, catering and administrative services companies, and several other industries.
CIIM Washington works to establish relationships among its members and other businesses in the area to facilitate collaboration and exposure into the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area and beyond.
